FOCO FLAVA Vol. 10 is more than another battle. For ten years, FOCO FLAVA has created spaces in Northern Colorado where dancers, generations, styles, and communities can meet in the cypher.
Volume 10 turns an entire week into a celebration of that history. Knowledge. Movement. Competition. Freestyle. Community. Culture.

Breaking Battle
The team keeps growing.Top 16 Youth + Top 16 Adults, mixed into surprise 2v2 teams drawn from a hat. Every win adds a dancer from the losing side.

Open-Styles dancers compete in preliminaries.

The Top 16 are divided into two sides.
8 dancers vs 8 dancers.
Team Battle
The two sides battle in 1v1 rounds. Your side works together to eliminate the opposing side.
Remix the Winners
The winning side doesn't stay together. It gets split, remixed, and placed against each other again.

Generation Cypher Battles
Three generations. One champion.
Two Generation Cyphers run at Vol. 10 — one for Breaking, one for Open Styles. Both use the same structure. This isn't an age bracket. It's generations meeting in the cypher.

Secret judges select one winner from each generation's cypher.

Learning from Voices Across Hip-Hop Culture
For our 10th annual FOCO FLAVA, we are expanding the experience beyond battles, workshops, cyphers, and movement. Knowledge Sessions are live conversations with influential artists, culture bearers, educators, and leaders from across Hip-Hop culture — space to hear directly from people whose lived experiences have helped shape dance, music, community, history, and the culture itself.
Each session connects a featured guest joining live from their part of the world with a FOCO FLAVA host and audience in Colorado, while opening the conversation to participants worldwide.
